Patrick "Shipwreck" K and Randy limped in and Dan (pictured) moved all-in for 875 total from the small blind. Both players called and saw a flop of As-Ah-Jh. Both players checked and when the 7h came on the turn Randy and Patrick performed a charming synchronized heart check routine. Patrick bet 400 and Randy called. The river was the 3d and Patrick fired 800, which was enough to get Randy to fold his Kh-qd face up.
Before he turned up his hand Patrick told Dan, "I think I got you."
"I think you don't," Dan said as he turned up A-3 for a full house. His happiness was short-lived as Shipwreck showed A-7 for a bigger boat. There are now 14 players remaining, as Kevin "The Baconator" R was eliminated at roughly the same time.

ReplyDeleteOk I read it right the FIRST time and went to post and thought, No It was Dan who won the hand you idiot Laurie....So I delete and rewrite the comment and DAMMIT I was right the first time! MAN IM SO BLONDE....(that one was for Kevin R) Ok so the above comment applies, um reverse names and the Kevin thing...well no changes there! YIKES!
