Crazy Eights

Several players limped in and then Joe D raised to 125 from the hijack. Sam folded in the small blind and everyone else called. The flop came out 10c-8c-8h and Meredith checked in the big blind. Keith bet 200, Paco called, Joe D. called, and then Meredith reraised to 1,000 total. Keith thought for a while before just calling and Paco didn't think long at all before moving all-in for around 3K total. Joe folded and Meredith quickly moved all-in (with Paco having her covered).

"How do I not call here with J9?" Keith asked the table. He thought a long while before folding. Paco showed 7d8d while Meredith just barely had him outkicked with 8d9c. The 2 on the turn reduced the chances for a chop, but the K on the river was enough to give Paco the chop with Meredith.
